I had a similar problem but with Firefox. I uploaded a VCalendar file and when I view the file in FireFox it turns into codes. Glad to come across this website and I might be able to find the reasons why it does that on Firefox.

Thanks Andrew,

I'm glad it helped you. I was having troubles finding a solution on the net. I used to use Sunbird, but it wasn't integrated like lightning. I've just done some test searches on google and it's coming up first, so that is good :-)

You've got a really good blog. I've always wanted to get into ROR but never had the time. I've subscribed to your rss feeds. Hopefully I'll get a lot of info from your site :-)

cheers

Daniel,

Thanks for posting this, I had this very issue yesterday and found your post quickly and now my vCalendar events are much more readable!

I'll be blogging about this soon and I've added full credit to where I got the information.

Thanks again,

Andy.
