Davenport Underwear Flash Web site live

August 26th, 2007

At DDX, we built the Davenport Underwear website. The design was done by Damien Aistrope.
The whole site was built fairly quick using the flash CMS and it has all the usability you could possibly get for a Flash Website. It’s built using solid OOP architecture, and though we see it more as an RIA (because the way it’s built) it still has to have a “page based” framework.

Features include: Fully Flash website, SEO indexable, Deep linking functionality and Content Managed. There’s also a mini Flash Game (pie throwing) in the fool about section.

Wouldn’t it be cool if more than five models were clickable? Great campaign :)

Someone mentioned the track name is: “Bear Wrestle” from StickUpKids.. but I couldn’t find any info of them on the web.
I’ve asked the guys at davenport underwear to shed some light.. I’ll let you know when I have the proper name.

Yep, desparate for this track too. It is suspiciously absent from the internet. Emailed Davenport here in Oz last week with no response. Will keep searching and post my findings.

From Davenport marketting – The track is called ‘Wrestle with the bear’ by Chit Chat.

Still can’t find any trace of this track on the web. Good luck in finding it.

The web layout is neat and tight. Great usability. A shame about the clickable models being limited in number. Is it possible to perhaps update that feature now that time is more available? It doesn’t feel finished, even if it is just a quick ramble on characters.

Great ,genuinely fun, layout and a really wicked add.
Hope to see it on TV again.

@Scintilla: If you use firefox, you could check your cache using cacheviewer, explained here: http://www.danieltome.com/blog.....ash-files/

And search for the flv video. Which is this one: http://www.davenportunderwear.com.au/flv/home.flv

And then convert it to mp4 to upload to your ipod.

    cheers
