At DDX, we built the Davenport Underwear website. The design was done by Damien Aistrope.
The whole site was built fairly quick using the flash CMS and it has all the usability you could possibly get for a Flash Website. It’s built using solid OOP architecture, and though we see it more as an RIA (because the way it’s built) it still has to have a “page based” framework.
Features include: Fully Flash website, SEO indexable, Deep linking functionality and Content Managed. There’s also a mini Flash Game (pie throwing) in the fool about section.

Please let me know what you think.

SimpsonizeMe has much more options than the simspons movie website. You can upload a photo of yourself (has to be 640×480) and it will “automagically” simpsonize you. It has a lot of hairstyles.

The flash app has a lot of usability issues, to mention a few:
- When you click on the “your character” button all other buttons get disabled, and if you didn’t save the character you have to start all over again.
- It is very difficult to select the colour red.
- View area for body types is too small
Overall it works out quite well. It exports as PNG with transparent background, which I thought is amazing.

I’m adding my blog to technorati, and in order to claim your blog you have to write a post with a special link. I’ve tried adding the link to the sidebar, so it doesn’t add the post to the RSS feeds, but the spiders couldn’t find it.
I like the way Google sitemap identifies you as the owner of the blog while not being so invasive. They make you add a special key in the meta tag.
Anyway, I won’t delete the post as they recommend, I’ll leave it here for future reference.
